Ah school... If it weren't so hot, I'd be wishing it was summer. After another 100+ degree day and nothing going my way, I am exhausted.
You know those days. When nothings seems to go right? Well I had one of those days today. I woke up... well, not fully. And had to practically drag myself out the door. It was a good morning in Seminary. But then I got to school.
Here's how it went.
Pre-School: Locker- Would not open. After 5-10 tries it opened.
1st Period: Geography. New project. Yay.
2nd Period: English. Left book at home. Messed up an obvious answer. Have to re-RE-read To Kill A Mockingbird.
Lunch: Everyone on phones. Not talking. My phone's broken. You see my point. Also, being ignored even when people aren't on their phones isn't a plus.
3rd Period: Math. Bored me to death. Was falling asleep but needed to learn material.(On the upside, my homework's already done.)
4th Period: Spanish. Called on the one time I wasn't paying attention. Not learning anything new or useful. Left homework at home.
Overall, it was just one of those days. And I could name lots more that didn't go right. But I'll just leave it at this. You know the day was bad when math was my favorite period.
Anyway, thanks for letting me get that off my chest! I really needed a good vent. This weekend, I definitely look forward to relaxing and reading a good book. Well, I hope you've all had a better day than I, and that you'll remember the amazingly true quote: You can't control everything. Your hair was put on your head as a reminder of that. See y'all later!
